Seal of Biliteracy
Wallingford Public Schools is pleased to join other schools in the state as we test for and award the Seal of Biliteracy. In 2017, Connecticut became the 27th state to legislate the Seal. The Seal of Biliteracy is intended to recognize students that are literate and lingual in more than one language (with a proficiency at the intermediate-mid range). If you are a native speaker of a language other than English or if you have studied a second language for multiple years at the high school level, please consider testing for the Seal of Biliteracy!
The webinar linked below offers a wealth of information regarding the Seal; however, the due date for payment and the date of administration at the end of the webinar are out of date. All other information in the webinar is relevant.
