Fit to Go Program at the YMCA

The Wallingford YMCA offers the “Fit To Go” program each fall and winter. Middle school students will learn about nutrition; work with staff to develop an exercise program; engage in healthy activities; make new friends; and feel better about themselves. The program meets twice per week, with transportation provided. If you believe your child may benefit from this program, please contact the Counseling office for more information and an application. Space is limited.

Upward Bound at the YMCA

The Wallingford YMCA offers the Upward Bound program. This program is designed to help students grow and develop in a positive environment with positive role models. Middle school students will participate in group discussion, homework completion, snack and group activities. Students participate in a service learning activity throughout the school year. The program meets once a week, with transportation provided. If you believe your child may benefit from this program, please contact the Counseling office for more information and an application. Space is limited.
