All student events for the Wallingford Public Schools will end no later and 8:00 PM tonight, 3/18/2013, in preparation of the impending snowstorm.
Starting 3/1/13, we will be implementing Single Sign On for the Parent Portal.
In the event of a weather related delay or cancellation, the CAPT testing schedule will be altered.
All Wallingford Public School events scheduled for Saturday, February 9th are cancelled.
Kindergarten registration will begin on Monday, January 14, 2013. Registration materials will be posted here on Tuesday, January 8, 2013.

Wallingford Public Schools are closed today, Thursday November 8, 2012, due to weather conditions. Office staff should report in at 9:30 AM
Wednesday, November 7, 2012 No after school activities and Adult Education classes cancelled. The Community Budget Forum has been cancelled for this evening.
Due to ongoing storm damage mitigation efforts at Sheehan High School, Sheehan students and staff will be relocated to the Toyota Oakdale Theater for Wednesday, November 7, Thursday, November 8, and Friday, November 9. The school day will be normal hours from 7:30 a.m. until 1:55 p.m. Bus students will be transported directly to and from Oakdale. Walkers (that do not get rides from parents) will be shuttled to and from Oakdale from Sheehan High each day. Parents who drive their children to and from school each day are welcome to do the same at the Oakdale Theater. Cold lunches will be available for student purchase from Wallingford Public School cafeteria staff. The Meal Pay system will be available for students to access when buying lunch. A more lengthy email will be sent for parents and students.

Sheehan High School will be closed Friday, November 2, 2012. Students and teachers are not to report to school. The SATs scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Sheehan High School are cancelled. They have been rescheduled for Saturday, November 17th. Further information will be shared as available.
Wallingford Public Schools Staff Wallingford Schools will be open tomorrow, October 31 with the exception of Sheehan High School. Sheehan High School will not be open for students for the next two days because of damage to the roof caused by the storm.
Parents of ALL WPS Students All Wallingford Schools with the exception of Sheehan High School will be open tomorrow, October 31, 2012. Only Sheehan High School will remain closed.
Parents/Guardians of Sheehan Students -- The storm we experienced over the last two days caused some damage to the portion of the roof that was not replaced this summer allowing water to leak into some areas of the building. Clean up is well underway, but we will need two additional days to complete the necessary repairs. Therefore, there will be no school for Sheehan High School students on Wednesday, October 31 or Thursday, November 1.

Joseph Piacentini is named principal of Moran Middle School. Richard Napoli, who was assistant principal at Moran, is the new principal of Parker Farms Elementary School.
Bus forms requesting transportation to day care addresses and partner school forms must be sent to the Transportation department by JULY 1, 2012. This is a FIRM DEADLINE. Forms received by July 1st will be guaranteed a seat on the bus in the fall. Forms received after this date cannot be guaranteed transportation for the first 2 weeks of school
