Board of Education Special Meeting on the Budget
Last evening, the Board of Education finalized and approved the 2023 - 2024 Board of Education Budget in the amount of $ 113,511,919. This represents a 3.29% increase over the Originally Approved 2022-2023 budget. Based on the allocated amount, we unfortunately had to make some very difficult decisions ultimately resulting in personnel cuts.

The Town Council has appropriated funding for the Track and Field and the project has begun. The elevator cost has not yet been appropriated. Additionally, we received an additional appropriation of $250,000 from the Town Council for the current budget year (2022-2023). The additional appropriation is being used for several strategic request items and solar lighting. (* denotes strategic plan item, ## denotes non-strategic plan item). |
