Dear Wallingford Staff and Families, 

On February 23, 2026, the Board of Education approved a budget that included a sustained services increase of $3,402,152 (2.795%) and a strategic request of $601,632 (0.494%), for a total proposed budget of $125,725,886 (3.289%).

The Mayor subsequently recommended a 2.795% increase to the 2026–2027 Board of Education budget, bringing the total to $3,402,152. This represents a $601,632 reduction from the Board’s originally proposed budget.

There are two Special Town Council meetings focusing on the Town Budget scheduled for Monday, April 27th, and Thursday, April 30th. Both meetings will be held in the Robert F. Parisi Town Council Chambers.
