Dear Wallingford Staff and Families, 

On February 26, 2024, the Board of Education approved a sustained service budget increase of $6,536,297, representing 5.758%., and a strategic request of $804,335 (.709%), which represented an overall budget request of $120,852,551 (6.467%). Additionally, the Board of Education requested $2,758,622 in capital items be funded. 

Mayor Cervoni recommended a 3.00% increase to next year's Board of Education budget request of $3,405,358, which reduces our total budget request by $3,935,274.  At this time, no capital items were recommended for funding.
