Good afternoon,
Last evening, the Board of Education finalized and approved the 2026–2027 Budget in the amount of $125,725,886. This reflects an increase of $4,003,784 (3.289%).

The following staff changes were included in the approved 2026–2027 budget.
Curriculum Coordinators
- Reduced the number of Curriculum Coordinator positions by one
- Restructured and broadened the scope of work and responsibilities for the remaining five Curriculum Coordinators
- Extended four of the five Curriculum Coordinators to a 12-month work year
Department Head Stipends
- Added 2 Department Head Stipends for electives to support the secondary coordinator
- 1 Humanities Department Head
- 1 STEM Department Head
Certified Staff Positions - Grant Funded
- Added 1.0 FTE Bilingual Speech & Language Pathologist
- Added 1.0 FTE Social Worker - Pond Hill/Stevens STARS Program
Certified Staff Positions
- Added 4.0 FTE Elementary Teacher Team Leaders
Non-Certified Staff Positions
- Added 1.0 FTE Day - Time Custodian
- Added Part - Time Maintenance Assistant
- Added 1.0 FTE District Plumber
Daily Substitute Pay
- Increased the daily substitute pay rate from 110 a day to 120 a day
Reduction in Student Attendance Days
- The number of student attendance days has been reduced from 183 to 182 for the upcoming school year.
We are pleased to share that the district remains fully funded for the 2026–2027 school year. Our continued focus remains on providing a high-quality education and supporting the growth and success of every student. With the collective efforts of our dedicated staff, families, and community partners, we are confident we can continue to meet the needs of our students and school community.
