Mission Statement

The mission of James H. Moran, Sr. Middle School is to inspire and support students as they grow from childhood to adolescence. We value the diversity of contributions made to our school community. Because of this we commit to providing opportunities for all learners to discover their strengths, pursue their passions, and fuel their personal creativity.

Directions to Moran Middle School

    From I-91 South

    • Exit 15 (Yalesville) Take RIGHT onto Rt. 68
    • Travel west on Rt. 68 (cross over Rt. 150 and past YalesvilleSchool)
    • Take LEFT onto Hope Hill Road (second light after Rt. 150) Moran is
    • ½ mile on the left.

    From I-91 North

    • Exit 15 (Yalesville) Take LEFT onto Rt. 68
    • Travel west on Rt. 68 (cross over Rt. 150 and past YalesvilleSchool)
    • Take LEFT onto Hope Hill Road (second light after Rt. 150) Moran is a
    • ½ mile on the left.

    From Wilbur Cross Pkwy South

    • Exit 65 (Yalesville) Take RIGHT at light onto Rt. 150
    • Go to next traffic light. Turn LEFT onto Parker Farms Road(Texaco
    • station on corner).
    • Proceed to STOP sign.
    • Take RIGHT onto Hope Hill Road. Moran is ½ mile on right.

    From Wilbur Cross Pkwy North

    • Exit 65 (Yalesville) Take LEFT at exit ramp. Take LEFT at light onto Rt. 150
    • Proceed to 3rd light.
    • Take LEFT onto Parker Farms Road (Texaco station on corner).
    • Proceed to STOP sign.
    • Take RIGHT onto Hope Hill Road. Moran is ½ mile on the right.
